Querido Elderes y Hermanas,
Quiero compartir algo maravilloso que pasó anoche a Elder Starkey y a mí cuando visitamos algunos vecinos amables para devolver una plancha sobre la cual había compartido u plátano a la parrilla el viernes por la noche. Llenamos el plato con galletas y fue a visitarlos.
Después de ver fotos de los padres de crianza y abuelos, hijos, sobrinas y sobrinos, hermanos y hermanas, Elder Starkey y el padre entraron en la otra habitación y la mamá me enseñó unas fotos más. Uno era de su pastor y su esposa en una iglesia habían sido muy activos en. Recientemente los líderes de la iglesia tenían serias dificultades y nuestros vecinos a regañadientes habían tomado una decisión para salir de esta iglesia. Compartió conmigo que su familia había estado orando cada noche para encontrar una iglesia.
Aquí está el mensaje de esta carta. Fui capaz de ir y tener esta asombrosa visita con nuestros vecinos, porque mis misioneros están bien. Gracias por tomar decisiones para tener buena salud.
Esta es mi pregunta (para ser respondida en otro idioma, si lo harás.)¿Qué hago yo haciendo, y lo que es el señor para llevar mi compañero y yo a quienes buscan la verdad? (¿Qué estoy haciendo, o lo que más estoy dispuesto a hacer para mantener mi cuerpo y mi compañía sanos?)

Dear Elders and Sisters,
I want to share something wonderful that happened last night
to Elder Starkey and me when we visited some kind neighbors to return a plate upon
which they had shared a grilled banana on Friday night. We filled the plate with cookies and went to
visit them.
After seeing pictures of aging parents and grandparents, children, nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters, Elder Starkey and the dad went into the other room and the mom showed me a few more pictures. One was of her pastor and his wife in a church they had been very active in. Recently the leaders of the Church had serious difficulties and our neighbors had reluctantly made a decision to leave this church. She shared with me that their family had been praying every night to find a church.
Here is the message of this letter. I was able to go and have this amazing visit
with our neighbors, because my
missionaries are WELL. Thank you for making choices to have good
health. Here is my question (to be
answered in another language, if you will.)
What am I doing, and what is the Lord doing to lead my companion
and myself to people who are seeking truth?
(And/or what am I doing, or
what more am I willing to do to keep my body and my companionship healthy?)
