¿Qué pasa si no hago tiempo en mi misión para estudiar?

What happens if I do not make time on my mission to study?  

Here is what a young man from San Jerónimo shared with me:  

Luis Gustavo Hernandez served a mission in Mexico.  He was given the opportunity to learn English, but did not think he would need English.  When he returned home, he found out that he had been wrong.  He looked for work, and looked for work.  There was no work to be found. 

Then he learned about a fund for returning missionaries to learn English called FUNVAL.  He took the course, accepting the opportunity to refine his English, to learn the necessary phrases, and grammar to be qualified to work in a call center at Telus International that does technical support for Google, Sprint, Fitbit among others.  He likes the company, finds the work comfortable, and chose to take the job because it allows him to have Sundays and Thursdays free.  He will begin school at the Galileo University at the end of this month.  [The call center is located in Guatemala City.  They are hiring workers there and in Quetzaltenango.]

Sister Curtiss also shared a conversation that she had with one of her neighbors who came up this past week, who were looking for someone to pay at a beginning salary $60,000 USD per year.  The qualifications included that the applicants must speak English. 

Moral to the story:  Studying brings benefits.  Do it!!

¿Qué pasa si no hago tiempo en mi misión para estudiar?

 Aquí está lo que un joven de San Jerónimo compartieron conmigo.

Luis Gustavo Hernandez 
sirvió una misión en México. Él tuvo la oportunidad de aprender a Inglés, pero no cree que sería necesario a Inglés. Cuando regresó a casa, él descubrió que él había sido equivocado. Buscó trabajo y buscó trabajo. No había ningún trabajo a encontrarse.  

Entonces él aprendió sobre un fondo para devolver los misioneros para aprender a inglés llamado FUNVAL. Tomó el curso, aceptar la oportunidad de perfeccionar su inglés, para aprender las frases necesarias y gramática para trabajar en un call center de Telmex Internacional que hace de soporte técnico de Google, Sprint, Fitbit entre otros. Le gusta la compañía, encuentra el trabajo cómodo y decidió tomar el trabajo porque le permite tener los domingos y el jueves gratis. Él comenzará la escuela de la Universidad Galileo a finales de este mes. [El call center se encuentra en ciudad de Guatemala. Están contratando trabajadores allí y en Quetzaltenango.]

Hermana de Curtiss también compartió una conversación que tuvo con uno de sus vecinos que llegaron esta semana, que estuvieron buscando a alguien a pagar un sueldo de inicio $60.000 USD anuales. Los requisitos fueron que los aspirantes deberían hablar inglés. 

Moral a la historia: estudiar trae beneficios. ¡¡Hazlo!!
